I've got UnrealGold and PAID for it. I dont have 227. How is an outsider supposed to know ?OjitroC wrote:The error message you got doesn't refer to a missing file but to a missing class in Engine.u - hence there is a problem with the Engine you are using - this can be taken to mean that the map needs to be run using a different Engine, in this case Unreal.
If you get an error message like that, also check in the Log - if it's a missing file it will give more details of the file that can't be found.
With respect, it is clear from the thread title that the map is an UnrealGold map.
Topic just needs a 227 in topic description and in title, also a link!
I just wasted 1,2 (could be 1,5 ) hours trying to get map to work! YES I dont know all, so do others.
Still dont have 227, dont want it either, will not play it either. ffs geeks.
Imagine the total outsider...willing to play tourist here....
He will be forced to a MAZE if not pointed to a direction...
I get it I get
You can make 200(0000000000000000) topics at once)
You can make 30 but ( publish 10000000 maps at once......
you are willing to accept all the attention at once..... that is what you want.
You can make..
All you want is attention MME. You wanted it, you got it. like all previous times.
Done making my point.
I am not the only one, having these thoughts.
All it needs just 3 letters: 227. But that is TOO HARD.
Why I always take the blame and being the sheep spit on?.....
I JUST WASTED 2 fucking hours getting your map to work.
Yes maybe I should have red the readme carefully..... but come on. When you buy a new television you just plug in it in and fire it up right? Or do you read the manual first?
Same is with cars. Who reads manuals beforehand these days? 90s it was very common, but times changed.
But opening 1000 topics at a time, could include 3 letters: 227 in the title.
But noo..... that you cant do.
Sorry for being enthusiastic, I want to play your map!
Geeks, kiddos, and immatures here.
This is my addiction. Creating content to my favorite (and only) game franchise I play. No bad intentions.
Now other people wont have the trouble like me starting the map I suppose!
This topic got me...... -___-

Terraniux you seem to have wasted 2 hours because you obviously didn't read the documentation.
Any confusion should have been clarified at that point.
You can shout and bang your fist all you like, and blame someone else for your mistake, but as far as I can see the original post is valid, even without stating the use of 227.
If this worked without 227, it could be played with Oldschool Ampd, and then would not be Off-Topic, so be posted in the SP section of the forum.
The clues are there for those that look.
Speaking of all the clues being there, "OjitroC" how long before it occurs to you that you haven't updated your copy of WinRAR for several years ?
Seriously, just go to the RARlabs site and get a version made after May 2013
I don't run WinRAR as I have a Mac and the only version of WinRAR for Macs that I found doesn't have a GUI. It's a pain trying to remember (or having to look up) the command-line syntax for an app one rarely uses. I have at least three decompressing apps which work fine with everything but RARs compressed by, I presume, the latest Windoze version.Dr.Flay wrote: Speaking of all the clues being there, "OjitroC" how long before it occurs to you that you haven't updated your copy of WinRAR for several years ?
I guess it has to do with the latest RAR file format version 5, which is not supported by a number of uncompressing programs. For example the 7Zip FAQ says:OjitroC wrote:I have at least three decompressing apps which work fine with everything but RARs compressed by, I presume, the latest Windoze version.
And the English wikipedia says:Why can't 7-Zip open some RAR archives?
7-Zip 9.20 supports RAR 2/3/4 formats only and doesn't support RAR5 archives. But latest versions of 7-Zip supports RAR5 archives.
Several programs can unpack the file format. As of November 2014, however, some 3rd-party programs documented as "supporting the RAR format" did not recognise RAR5 files.

Yes - works fine - tried it with one of your RARs and it was converted almost immediately - great find thatmakemeunreal wrote:Are these online conversion tools any good?
