Nvidia did release a new videocard, and is now for sale in the (web) shops.
It also comes with a package that can do realtime rate-racing (some games do supports it).
Its called the 2080 (ti) in the highend videocard range, it suposed to be much time faster than the titan xp,and afcourse also faster then the 1080 (ti).
The new 2080 range of videocards comes also with the ti edition, just like the 1080.
The videcard comes with the new gddr6 memmory modules, and i think a whole new hardware and software packages.
The videocard comes with almost 5000 cuda cores and its very fast.

This is not worth buying at all. RayTracing is new and amazing but there are no benchmarks yet. You are more likely to get a better deal after the next few versions of this card.

Something brand new is going to have issues and the versions after this one will have it all figured out.

It's worth only if you are running a really old 600 - 700 series card. Maybe 900 if your card is running out. Bottom line: it's too new. Wait for the benchmarks and reviews from people online.

Yes i,m waithing for that also, but i just made a post about this new videocard.I,m waithing also for the benchemarks from this card.
Some games where optimized for real time ratracing. The card suposed tobe much faster than a titan xp or Nvidia 1080 ti with 11 gddr memmory.
When the benchemarks are availeble i will post it here also. :tu:sorry bad english
And yes i have a 600 series of Nvidia running on mine machine.

:lol2:

Seriously though, it's new, so it's going to be super expensive for a while, until more cards are released and the cost of production goes down, along with potentially AMD stepping up to stir some competition.
As of now, the money you would give for the most expensive card, you could buy a reasonable gaming setup able to run every modern game without issues, so it's not worth the money at all.

I just bought 3 of them, SLI , UT runs great. :P

If you had a lot of cash you would buy a new card all the time when they first come out.

I have money, but I don't think an upgrade from 1080 would be any good... Maybe next generation I will buy new card.
Lets see how game developers take approach to this first.

At least the super high graphic textures runs like a charm of ut99.

omg so overkill for UT ofcourse, but not a problem if you have the money!
Everything which came > 3dfx Voodoo is already overkill for UT

Few months ago i upgraded my 9600GT to a 750ti which is already old again. :gj:
I can run what i want with it though (QC,UT4,PUBG)

No me too not, its a good idea that you can bey the 1080 (ti) because of the lower prize.
Benchmarks are scheduled and planned on 19 september this year.I think it will be possed on videocardz also.
I will hope that they compare with the titan xp and the 1080 (ti) also, because they are fast too.

RTX in its infancy, no games for a while (and the early ones always kinda suck; remember Hair Works?), a small speed gain in current titles and a die shrink literally around the corner.

Pass on this generation.
