Simple typing game

I wanted to improve my touch typing speed so I made myself a simple game where you have to type from A - Z in order as fast as possible, if you make a mistake you gain a 1 second penalty, nothing special just wanted to share it anyway.

Our scanners at work have a keyboard but the engineers in their infinite wisdom made the keyboard alphabetical. They look like this:


Typing on that keyboard is very hard when you are used to qwerty everywhere else.

Yeah that is the plan, I started work on analytical data for my games and sites last night, instead of adding high score functionality to keyboard challenge, I'll probably add that later today won't take long to implement those features.

Typing on that keyboard is very hard when you are used to qwerty everywhere else.

Wouldn't it make more sense for them to do the old mobile phone layout putting the alphabetical characters on the number keys?

Funny, i got teached blindtyping when i was a kid at school, but the alphabet itself seems quite difficult!

They never bothered with anything like that in school for me, had do everything for myself out of school
I just remember kids running over the desks, punching the laptops, and doing a whole years work in 1 month for IT.
