When you are updating windows 10 to windows 1903 version the update does not apear in the automatic updates.
You must download the update assistes for the new 1903 update from microsoft windows.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softwa ... -assistant

https://www.thewindowsclub.com/upgrade- ... -assistant

@barby:
Well i just did upgrade yesterday and i must say that windows is becoming to big, mine are much slower then other version then 1903.
A lot of features have been added to this new version and a lot of bloadware has been installed after the new windows version 1903.
There are alot of security option also with some privacy settings in this new version.
Even ut99 is a lot slower now. The force is that way to buy new hardware and a new computer.
I think that windows 10 is becoming normal to normal use in everyday use just becoming to slow.
And i have a i7 3770 intel with 16 gb of intern memmory.
(I just had it yesterday: the RDP screen stays black).
I did have no problems so far with updating to 1903, the installation was good and with no errors.
Its called the black screen of death.
You have also a red screen and a bleu screen thats when the os is stopped with working.

app used google translate.

Hmm? My knowledge is that Microsoft does not offer an Upgrade to certain computers as long as there are problems with specific hard- or software. When these issues are fixed, the upgrade will be offered. (The upgrade is done automatically if you use an old, unsupported version.)
So if you ignore that upgrade lock and do it compulsorily nice things may occur (I just had it yesterday: the RDP screen stays black).

exactly this! don't force the upgrade, and make sure every driver is up to date

I can't understand some of what you wrote :noidea
Using a spellcheck would help a bit.

My Win10 updated via the regular updates system. I didn't need to do anything apart from wait.
You can force it, but that is not wise if they have held it back.

Major "feature" updates (call it a damned Service Pack, and get over it Microsoft) will eat a big chunk of drive space as they behave like upgrading from 1 Windows to another.
You will see a folder of your old OS kept as a backup.
If you use the updated windows for a week or more and are happy with it, you can do a disk-cleanup with the builtin tools and get the space back.

What i only know for the telemetry thing is:
https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup1

Get your genuine iso's from:
https://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technolog ... nload-tool

OT: Can't really make much of it.
.. if you want dev/beta updates, just update your win10 manually until you cant anymore and MS will send you the beta/dev updates.

I recently updated to the new Windows version. Everything worked well. UT still runs as fast as always, but my sounds were distorted. This can be fixed by increasing the latency param of the Galaxy audio: Latency=120
Maybe updating your graphics driver can help with UT running slow?

Windows 10 will become slower when you did a update to the 1903 version of windows.
But if you tweak a litle bit and set things of you can make windows 10 fast again.
Sinds i upgraded to version 1903, ut99 became a litle slower, but just like esnesi posted you can switch thinks of wich help alot.
And the overal performance of windows 10 will then increase again.
you must indeed take a look if you have the latest graphic card drivers for your videocard.
Well i did that also maby i must install windows 10 again, i,m having a virus on mine computer wich any virus software can delete it.
The virus is coming from somewhere and i dont where from. Its quarantined now.
I just did a new windows 10 installation everithing is fast now, and like to keep it that way.

Difficult to recommend one as it depends on which you feel more comfortable using.
Some are a bit overwhelming and may lead to people just switching everything off, then wondering why certain features stop working.
They are all reasonably small and free, so worth looking at several.
A couple are promoted here https://www.privacytools.io/operating-systems/#win10
And a collection of good tools and descriptions https://techwiser.com/windows-10-privacy-tools/

I actually used the privacy sections of the general windows tweaker tools I use and a few manual changes
