It's normal that some mods and mutators there give you errors on UT GOTY, as there are UT2004 mods too.
They are all mixed and without description, so we won't know if a download from there is for UT GOTY, UT2003, UT2004 or UT3: if give you errors on UT GOTY, then that's not for GOTY version, it's probably for another version of UT, like UT2004 for example.

ut-files.com is actually great site, only descriptions are missing as mentioned above. Lot of useful stuff and easy downloading.

The problem is even though ut-files has a lot of files to download a lot of servers have different versions of the same file names. Its a crappy situation (for new admins) this ends up causing problems for maps mods etc.. I think with this site we have the opportunity to correct these issues and rock on
