If you look through the Unreal skins, you will be surprised at the detail they went to.
Remember though, they would have done what all good designers do, and work on a large version before scaling it down.

Made a little discovery last night. The DDFUltorGuard & DDFParker monsters (previous page) don't work in MonsterHunt.

Which is to say you can put them on a map as a part of it, not summoning them, but they don't attack anyone... even if you shoot them they might shoot back once or twice but otherwise seem completely confused.

They do scream a lot when nuked, which is kind of fun... I suppose.

Just before Scorpion's forum went bye-bye, he shared with me a monster he'd never released before: MHPredator.u, which is the prototype to the Predator that's in the MH-AvP.u...

Monsters being one of my fave topics, thought I'd try to kick this ol' thread of mine back into action.

I've brought up the GrimReaper to this forum many times before · viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5008

A scary powerful monster that uses another monster as one of its weapons: the SkullHead. I'm not sure what the original take on the thing was supposed to be, but it's basically a Skull with a very bad flame effect. It flies around killing everything in its path, and it launches smaller versions of itself as a projectile.

If that Red Team thug wasn't damned near unkillable... those lil' flying freaks would've shredded him. Standard player is usually gibs in the blink of an eye.

GrimReaper makes a lot of unusual and spooky sounds, and so do the Skullheads. Even after you kill the GR you've gotta track down each SH... better you should find them then have them find you.

This is kinda borderline:

Obviously someone took the very fast predator monster and made it into something of a WarCow, but the description with it is This is a character for Unreal Tournament v436 that is basically a combination of Unreal: Return to Na Pali's predator and Unreal Tournament's Nali Warcow. It is just as fast as RTNP's predator which doesn't make as much sense.

Why say it's just as fast if it's a player model and not a new form of the monster?

He does amazing work... but as a WarPredator, I dunno.

Unless it can still bite those it attacks I don't know that I see the point. Even with a machinegun, that savage biting makes the beastie!

Whoever decided to make this boss monster wasn't really planning on anyone surviving it... though you can get their weapon if you kill them (which as stated above is NOT easy)
Well i was on a moster hunt server few days ago, and there where some bots also included in that map.
And it was a pain in the ass to shoot at them we finaly did kill those bots, but they dont look the same as the Original bots in the ut 99 game.
i did forgotten the name of that map.

Well after they are all ready you can add them on some monster hunt servers.Will be very nice to shoot at them. :tu:

There's an option in the more updated version of Oldskool to configure monsters to use certain models that look like standard ut99 player models. They look like Male Commando & Male Soldier, though they move a lil' different.

I still use the original Oldskool, that Usaar33 made. Don't like the new one.

That boss monster you quoted into your comment is already available. Skim a bit further back in the thread, I included a download link for it before I had a screenshot of it.

Hunters.u is filled with chibi-versions of the Unreal monsters (chibi means smaller & fatter) that're scary fast with an insane amount of health:

I like them as they're more challenging, but then I'm a huge fan of hard to beat monsters.

about those bot i mean wich are very dificult to beat, and they move very fast.
Just minuut ago i did play the map its awsum to play with that setting i did go dead very often. :loool:

Been using that in MonsterSpawn for some time now - spews out boulders/rocks and is similar to the upsxmon2.StoneBag (though the skins are different, of course).

Note:
To bump here - LiandriConflictV2 doesn't include BOT type from any kind - FALSE affirmation. Those are... other borked monsters, some servers might get stuck at playing that map... others not...
In hoping that we know the stuff which we use...
