What's happening to my UT?
What's happening to my UT?
Yep, I'm back.
I started up UT the other day and there was no font on the menus and my cursor was invisible.
Is it fixable? If so please tell!

Well, you could delete your UnrealTournament.ini in System/, or reinstall the game (by the sounds of it the install is probably messed up).
Re: What's happening to my UT?
But won't deleting the INI will stop UT from working alltoghether?Feralidragon wrote:Well, you could delete your UnrealTournament.ini in System/, or reinstall the game (by the sounds of it the install is probably messed up).

UT will make a new ini ...but if you are doubtful make a backup of the old ini.
Re: What's happening to my UT?

I guess i'll have to start over... I was quite the mod collector you know...
Are you sure you don't mean ".Int"? Because I dont see any Ini files in System.

Wait you don't have an " UnrealTournament.ini" ...I think this is the problem.
From where do you got your UT installation?

Re: What's happening to my UT?
Sure you ain't got any files with a little cogwork (not sure how they're called)? In XP (but maybe more than XP), they're called something like Configuration Setings (not sure again, as I'm not at home). We call'em .ini files.
My work for UT99: Counter-Strike VP, MaleOne+ (now updated), FemaleOne+ and the FemaleTwo220 voicepacks DM-XC-NaliTreeV2 (from the 2012 Xmas Contest mappack), DM/DOM-20AC-CastleGeorgeV3 (from the 20th Anniversary Contest mappack), DM-UFFO, DM-WreckingBall, (NEW!) CTFM-Sundial
my small spec of files at Google Drive
List of console converted maps, models & more!

You said you don't have a single .int file? Then reinstall as that's why you don't see any menus (menus and other things rely on int files to be loaded at all, if they're gone, so are your menus and other stuff).

Ferali you said .ini not .int ...you will now confuse UTNerd.Feralidragon wrote:Well, you could delete your UnrealTournament.ini in System/, or reinstall the game (by the sounds of it the install is probably messed up).
Anyway UTNerd it looks like you must reinstall your UT. really odd that you got no system files.

Re: What's happening to my UT?
- I told .ini at the beggining since I really meant the ini first.
- however, given that UTNerd24 said he didn't have any .int files in his system, then the problem is discovered.
Again, just reinstall the game, even if on top of your current one (that also generally works).
