A non-existent choice? Looks like it is quite common here having an around 10 years old crappy CRT, which keeps falling apart? :ironic:
About to be non-active
My very last UT map project: CTF-FacePalm (tropical CTF-Face remake)

What I want to do next: Joining an UDK team (uncertain however) and improve 3D modelling and texture editing skills

hehe, just having a laugh.
That resolution is very existent !

Well actually I have a posh designers monitor that goes to massive sizes, but I only ever use those sizes for audio software.
I run different programs on different size resolutions, depending on the need (I am an Amiga user, so that is how I roll baby)
I have profiles set, so when I open certain progs, Windows changes for me.
The desktop, with nothing running but Winamp uses 1024x768
When I watch a DVD, it changes to 800x600 (European PAL resolution being 720x576).
I also play UT @ 800x600 and Unreal @ 1024x768
I edit in UEd at 1280x1024
and run visualizers at 640x320 or less (smoooooth and faaaast !)

Actually I am now sitting in front of a newer LCD flat-screen in the Cafe. It has a maximum size of 1024x768 (half the size of my older CRT) :omfg:

And as web pages should be made at 1024x768 or lower, I will stick with my "new years resolution" until I have a widescreen monitor (or until I convert to Win7+).

Just having some fun :loool:

@Flay: Means 1024 x 768 is maximum^^
@paper: Always looking for unreal offers?
I bought this one in 2010 for around 130 euros I guess:
However not available anymore, as it seems.

As this LCD flatscreen only goes to 1024x768, I am going to make it a custom driver.
I will give this monitor a "New years Resolution" of 1025x769 (just for the sheer hell of it) :D

BTW. As far as I am concerned the sooner Acer die, and stop polluting the world with crap hardware that customers bring me to fix, I will be happy.
They make cheap crap look like expensive shiny stuff. As soon as I open them up, I want to throw them against the wall, rather than fix it.
Acer/Aopen have made some of the worst optical drives and laptops I ever had the misfortune to get an RMA number for.

A few years ago, the son of one of the company owners was trying to show off his "fancy" mini PC they gave him. I told him I could upgrade it, or build him something better (he did not like that :lol2: ).
They didn't even give a family member anything more than a toy, that looked great (until someone stole it!)

BTW. I use a LaCie monitor at home.

Use that site to see if the monitor you want has good colour accuracy.
