What I want to do next: Joining an UDK team (uncertain however) and improve 3D modelling and texture editing skills

Sure thing! Congrats to Feralidragon (wasn't Jack involved earlier as well?) and all the guys involved in the UTSDK. I admit I am a bit behind on the news and developments, but Shadow is a principle player in the UTSDK, correct?
Anyhow, great to see this stuff is still well alive and kicking hard!
