A map I can make in 5 minutes, composed of a series of square boxes, connected by hallways, each one with about 100 monsters of the same type and another monster of that type sized up 20 times with 400 times normal health (The Godz). This repeats with Pupae, flies, sliths, gasbags, kralls, etc to cover almost every monster. It's ugly, laggy, and a 5 year old could make it. there's at least eighty versions of the map out, and people somehow actually ENJOY it. It's a thorn in the eyes and sides of any mapper that tries to produce quality maps.

Good news Everyone! I have got access to a good computer with a nice internet connection, now I just have to make sure I got everything I need to play along with you people online.
So, what else do I need to play online other than Unreal Tournament? I mean it from a clean install as I want to make sure I got everything I need. Also, when do you guys play? Since I moved I have been living under the "UTC/GMT -6 Hours" time zone, that is two hours in the future from Evil Grins since he is in California.
And about servers and such I know nothing so all those things like Ping and other things mean nothing to me so guideance would be appreciated. I can join any game type as I got some favorite ones but I just want to play. Not so much a fan of InstaGib, Arena or Monsters but I will gladly join if I am invited by someone from here. I mostly play DM, TDM, CTF and Dead Man Stands, usually with Ferali's NW Ultra Gore, Double Jump and random weapons, I spent most of my time playing with mine as I had to test them but I pretty much like them all.

Edit: What other online games do you play? I used to play Combat Arms [Downloading it again] and Dream of Mirror Online but I think it is dead and I don't like it anymore.

As for online games, the only one I used to actively play was BLR (Blacklight Retribution, and "used to" because my interest in that game dropped along with their lack of content, servers quality and excessive nonsensical money grabbing events/updates).
I also tried Planetside 2, and although I still have it installed, I only play it once each 4/6 months, since it's not the kind of game I want to invest my gaming time on, but it's cool to drive some vehicles and have some nice battles once in a while.
As for offline ones, I tried out a lot of the big games to check how they were like, for both enjoyment and to look at them from a more technical/academic point of view, and in the end some were great 1 time experiences, a few 2 or 3 time experiences, these games were: all Crysis games, Bulletstorm, Saints Row III, Hitman Absolution, Fallout 3, and a few others.

In case you didn't realize, yeah FPS/TPS is pretty much the only type of game I like to play lol

There won't be a NW4, nor a SW1, but hopefully there will something a lot better than any of those two in the future. I have been trying some new effects and techniques along with the oversurrections already, and I found out both annoying limits and a couple of nice new things.

Nexgen is a manager for admins to be able to kick and ban players, moderate the server, place rules, write private messages, etc, etc... it's like some sort of forum-like feature for servers, without the public posts/topics, just the PM and moderation parts.
ACE stands for Anti-Cheat Engine, so I guess this one is self-explainable on what it does.
