Good sequel to U1 with MP component is now probably more welcome than new UT. Last game left pretty bad taste in my mouth. Technically it was good and basics were there, but it lacked in many other areas.
But I have little faith for anything Unreal releated TBH. It looks like Epic is currently focusing on mobile space and their middleware - Unreal Engine - which is understandable, because their're not charity.
There are also so many other factors like recent shares acquisition by chinese company, major employee departures, no idea how much of original UT staff is left etc. We'll have to wait and see.
