Pokemon Shuffle (Nintendo 3DS), and Dota2 (PC/Steam) when I can. My download limit isn't too well lol. Used to play Counter Strike: Global Offensive (PC/Steam) but with their updates and changing the interface is just waste of time trying to find out how to do something so I gave up on it lol.

System Shock is absolutely amazing, I won't spoil the fun but it's the one game that made me feel so deep into it, I always felt like I was in that ship, followed.

There's so many great games to list here but I'll keep it short, Deus Ex which is a masterpiece in our beloved Unreal Engine and Half Life in which I had a lot of fun, specially in the expansions.

I'm presuming that's SS2 you're talking about - that game scared/stressed the shit right outta me the first time i played it (long ago) imo it's unfortunate it was never "brought forward" like doom was to doom3 etc, and yeah, it kinda was with dead space, but still would have liked to have a ss3.

Bioshock series was quite good imo but not really the same and all the modern RPG hybrids owe something to SS - imo it's hard to top the creepiness and quite disturbing as you discover the unfolding story(s). There's also that angst you get being this pawn stranded on a huge damaged spacecraft overrun by crazies and having that bitch AI shodan riding you right to the bitter freakish end - you just want to kill her so bad!!!! and of course areas you've cleared re-populate with monsters, there's never enough ammo or health, the bloody guns jam and break gahhh! you're just never feel safe in there... amazing audio work as well - it brilliantly done!

That said i highly recommend it :tu: If you do want to play it - steams a good way to go. be sure to download all the extra mods/patches for models, graphics, music quality, etc.
Just remember it is old (like em ut99 is old, lol) so it's like a "period piece" for the late 90's - however, i think you will quickly get emersed despite the old look of it.. it is a great game! And should be followed immediately by the original DeusEx... for some reason they sorta go together :)

hard to name a favorite but Fallout games are pretty close for me -
lately, been playing fallout (everything, fo3 plus dlc, fonv plus dlc) getting ready for 4...

yeah, i should be finishing those bloody UT maps, just not that interested right now

since i've got a killer machine now, I've gotten indoctrinated into ut4 by tomcat (psst - he's mapping ut4 already, so watch out ;)

Maybe i'll do EpicTown in ut4, lol!
hmm...

A few days ago I had a quick go at porting EpicTown to 2K4, but realised it would require more time than I can give it.
https://forums.epicgames.com/threads/58 ... rter-0-4-1
BTW. this tool is really handy for converting UE1 decos into UE2 static meshes

The UT4 converter is here https://forums.unrealtournament.com/sho ... .php?18198

"Dear Father Fragmas, this year for Unrealmas I would very much like to see EpicTown being unwrapped by all the happy UT4 players"
Actually far from being a joke, I have already said I think EpicTown should be converted.
A full server full of people enjoying the ultimate tribute to Epic and UT, would feel like things have come full-circle.

I am sure Epic would love it, and can you imagine the intense battlefield potential of this huge map ?
With the ChaosUT4 mod, the grapple will become a very popular item.
I added trucks and a few other cars into my copy, as the scale supports rapid transport in many ways.
Though I held-back from doing my usual thing of fitting breakable windows everywhere, I do intend to do it at some point.

Word. I scripted for DayZ quite a bit and it's been a game that's held my attention for some time. I still play on Sp00ney's servers when I get the itch to hunt Bambi. I miss coding for servers since the Arma2 engine is really easy to learn and use but the database management part of DayZ server admin was too much work. No other game is anywhere near the statement on social construction that DayZ has been. I've seen very good friends turn on each other to not lose their character's stuff and I've seen enemies set anger aside to address a larger problem. It's the only game where you'll see someone healing a stranger, giving them food, then handcuffing, kidnapping and finally gang raping them at their hidden compound. There's a lot of "what would you do during a zombie apocalypse?" but I think DayZ demonstrates what would really be likely to happen. It's an education on behavioral science to be an admin on a busy server. You don't believe some of the things you see and hear.

Hedgewars - like Worms World Party, but much better and free

Red Eclipse - a Cube 2 engine game, very fast shooter with great movement system, realtime maps building - very fun, especially coop edit.
This game runs nicely even on a old hardware. Truly great game

playing on laptop via Nintendo Gamecube Emulator & Rom *using a PS3 controller
mainly because my Xbox is broke and theres no working emulator for that.
Tried the PS2 Emulator and ROM but my PC is too old and can't even handle it on Native resolution.... :/

Really Good Game .. better on EMU as you can "Save States" all over the show lol...

Right now I play a bit of Hearthstone. Actually I'm quite a Blizzard fanboy and I have completed most of their games. Instead of WoW, I played Perfect World International, though (which I thankfully quit last year, it was too time consuming after all).

However, my biggest inspiration for the gameplay of my Unforchers may come from Rayman (especially its third installment)!
