Yeah, very nice move, in server that would be extremelly bad luck, hence the joke :lol2: .
Too bad people never used that weapon functionality correctly and it proved to be quite useless ingame (taken it off in the new one, although it will go to another weapon alike instead just to launch that way).

Well, afaik ragdoll is just the physics applied to the model skeleton itself, and you can tweak each joint of that skeleton through code I think (not sure, never made anything in UT2k4).

From there, is all about making a "scripted sequence" where you move the joints here and there and lots of patience and time to do it. Big studios just use actual humans and sensors to do this kind of animation, because it's easier and much more accurate, but without, to make a fluid movement it takes some work.

Again, I don't know about UT2k4 specifically, but I guess it's along those lines since you can attach specific actors to specific joints there (Christmas hat mod anyone?).

if your intrested in ragdoll and your pc is good get The unreal development kit if i re before it went massive it had a preview off ragdoll effects, but now with all the stuff udk has now its 1.5gb download. i want it so bad but this pc not good. it would be great to have ragdoll in UT.
