Changed the order of maps in the main company.

Post by AndryxaXP »

Hi All! A long time ago I downloaded the HD UT GOTY assembly. When playing in a company, for some reason DM-Arkane, DM-Malevonce got out of the menu of this menu, and now Sharpell stands instead of DM-Barricade. Is it possible to return the original order maps through UT.ini? I would be grateful for the answers!

The following says that the map names should be stored in USER.INI:
Spoiler

Code: Select all

//=============================================================================
// Ladder
// A ladder game ladder.
//=============================================================================
class Ladder extends Info
	abstract
	config(user);

var() int Matches; // # of matches in ladder.
var() bool bTeamGame; // TeamGame ladder?
var() localized string Titles[9]; // Ranking titles.
var() string MapPrefix; // Match map prefix.

// 32 Matches
var() string Maps[32]; // Match map.
var() string MapAuthors[32]; // Map authors.
var() localized string MapTitle[32]; // Map title.
var() localized string MapDescription[32]; // Map description.
var() int RankedGame[32]; // Rank to award upon completion.
var() int GoalTeamScore[32]; // Match goalteamscore.
var() int FragLimits[32]; // Match fraglimit.
var() int TimeLimits[32]; // Match timelimit.
var() string MatchInfo[32]; // BotConfig to use for each game
													// The botconfig has all the info about

var() int DemoDisplay[32]; // This match is for demo display only.

var() class<RatedTeamInfo> LadderTeams[32]; // Teams that can be fought in this ladder
var() int NumTeams; // Number of LadderTeams
So back up your USER.INI, then search for the wrong entries in it and correct or remove them.

Vanilla UT and UT GOTY have different Ladders (GOTY introduced more maps and DM-Barricade sucks).
The CTF Ladder also has two maps added in the GOTY version (CTF-Hydro and CTF-Orbital).

Have a look at this page for all the differences http://unreal.wikia.com/wiki/Unreal_Tou ... gle_player
