Even after a nuke war, now we couldn't have games like Fallout New Vegas, cuz there won't be a "small burned book" to collect, suckers. No disks no albums, just a useless scrambled memory stick. :P and melted credit-debit-gift-game cards of no value.

Eh, don't worry, we won't have a nuclear war! Instead we'll have a cyberpunk ultra-technological future in which everything's connected online, with home automation as a norm in real estate, self driving cars, think of this tuned up to 11.
Electronic content may well be the last thing humanity will leave after itself!

But to come back to the main topic, it isn't the first time something like this happened: IIRC, getting hit with the Chandelier maxed out your XBox 360's capacities in Ace Combat 6 and could lead to a crash, and you could (with cheat codes) spam tactical nukes in World in Conflict, which would have the game freeze for a while.
