Full List of ut99.org mappacks contests (updated:15-01-2022)

Post by darksonny »

Hi all
I asked PapperCoffee to provide some links for those mappacks made to date until 2021 by ut99.org community here in this forum, time passed so I did a research of all those mappacks to get located in a single place:

History of UT99.org's mappacks released till 2021:

-Year 2012: UT99.org XMas 2012 Mapping Contest Mappacks (vol1 and vol 2) - LINK: https://sites.google.com/site/fragnbrag ... k-volume-1

-Year 2013: UT99.org-48-SC-2013_map-pack_FIX.zip - LINK: https://unrealarchive.org/mappacks/unre ... acde5.html

-Year 2014: THE 512kb MAPPING CONTEST.zip - LINK: https://unrealarchive.org/mappacks/unre ... 2d482.html

-year 2015: ut99.org-TMC-mappack.zip - LINK: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1f8_yH ... scHPz8gtN0 Thanks UnrealGecko.

-Year 2016: UT99.org-3072-UU-Contest-maps.zip - LINK: https://unrealarchive.org/mappacks/unre ... 30baa.html

-Year 2017: UT99orgCMCmappack.zip - LINK: https://unrealarchive.org/mappacks/unre ... 7f669.html

-Year 2018: UT99.org-AMC-mappack.zip - LINK: https://unrealarchive.org/mappacks/unre ... 6e7cb.html

-Year 2019: UT99.org Anniversary mappack (second edition) - LINK: https://www.mediafire.com/file/2t4igrqo ... N.zip/file

-Year 2020: No official mappack for 2020 from UT99.org but another interesting mappack lead by Evilgrins, Ridiculous Mapping Contest - LINK: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=13580&hilit=Rmc

-Year 2021: UT99.org NRMC Mappack (volume 1 version 2, and 2). LINK for Vol.1 version 2: https://drive.google.com/u/0/uc?id=1Snk ... t=download
Vol.2: https://unrealarchive.org/mappacks/unre ... 185e5.html

I decided not to make a second version for the 2015's mappack, instead leave as is it the mappack link provided by unrealgecko.

Enjoy.
pd: I will update if new mappacks were made in future, then will be added to this list.
Last update: 15-01-2022, happy christmas :)

I think there was a file for the TMC one... in any case, you have my permission for the distribution of DM-TMC-Narean.

Sadly I couldn't find the TMC mappack on my drives.
And then I forgot about it.
Was there even a mappack? I think this contest failed a little bit.

Turns out I had it on my extrrnal hard drive, but kept forgetting to upload it... DERP.

Put it on Google Drive for now, feel free to spread it around if needed.

EDIT: Got a PM saying I might have the wrong version of AS-TmC-Snow2, could be Gustavo updated the map after the contest and I forgot to put it in the pack. Anyone can compare them?

Im not sure what to do here...should I post that pack preferably or make (with permission obviously...) another version two of the pack including the map as-tmc-snow2?

I've split up the conversation because your feud has nothing to do with this Thread.
I moved the convo into the trash section. Nothing get deleted.

Good, next year I'll do some sorted "map-packs" for personal fun.
I'm reading these topics because I want a good personal storage of resources when it's about building a server/reinstall from ROOT and not byte-by-byte public shares.

You seem to be missing the first 2.
Not sure where the first one is here due to all the words in the name (The UT99.org Community Map) being too common here so the search fails.
The second has its own section here viewforum.php?f=40
My google mirror has the first https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... E1kLUJEOVU

The community map-packs are not results of competitions/contests.

I think that's obvious and usual for every server maintainer? Every map archive/skin/sound/whatever I install on the server is archived on a separate mass storage anywhere.

I don't understand all this "getting permission" stuff  :wth:

Unless it has to do with packing old version maps. :noidea
