Mapping again + tutorials

Post by QuillioN »

Hi all,

It's been years since I mapped, I found my UT99 disc recently and loaded some old maps up. I've forgotten a lot about mapping, so in a bid to refresh my memory a google search commenced!
This site had lots of info..I did however come across this (not listed here from what I can see, Apologies if it is)

I'm looking for inspiration and hoping to finish a map....Soon....

Don't call me Sir, I am still the same old crappy person as back then. :P

Hell, make a map for the new contest, if we have one.
You always made straight forward DM maps.

I rate them as zero (on Nalicity) lol just kidding.
But for some reason you make memorable stuff, maybe because you explained the maps so well, I HAD to play them. :noidea

Hope you make another. !!! go for it.

Hey all

As mentioned above..I have been messing about in the editor, relearning and frankly enjoying it :D
Added a screen for you to peek at. CTF map layout almost complete, just testing run times and certain points to see if it flows well.
EVERYTHING you see is place holder. I'll plod on, see how far we can get :D

Looks interesting, also I have a fetish for grey concrete so your start has me interested. :)
