Re: Did any one of you see this?
Most regulars here know, due to the earlier announcement on Discord.
But good for the people who don't indeed!
Let's hope this patch brings even some more players to return with the 20th anniversary in sight, like it did for U1!

Hmm, didn't OldUnreal previously announce that they were going to shut down their website?

I though that it's posted already in a subtle way.

The title of that thread isn't really informing you about the patch... well, same as this thread here.sektor2111 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2019 6:13 am I though that it's posted already in a subtle way.

We should Wait till Anth is announcing it in an official thread here.

Re: Did any one of you see this?
yeah well... tbh the whole UT part on that site is pretty much ''inactive''.
I understand they want to release the news on their own platform, but a topic at the same time here would be decent..

Just saw this now, and holy hell is this awesome. Especially since it's very close to UT's 20th anniversary.

Incidentally, will this also be an opportunity to update the Master Server values that are written by default to the UnrealTournament.ini file, and to replace the defunct GameSpy and MPlayer entries with the Master Server addresses for 333Networks and others? Or is it a "native-only update" agreement?

Re: Did any one of you see this?
That thing can be updated in file called Default.ini if I'm not mistaking - you can save such edited files and using them later in a new install - nothing hard, there are more other critical things to solve with higher priority in a future UT update - it's about stock packages and natives accordingly, not INI settings which everyone can replace/edit.

Is this good? I didn't know about that because, well, there's a lot of forums about UT99 and cannot know all of them
