I'm sorry to hop in.
But reading this "I like to use one of my unreleased maps for the contest" makes me sick.
I can't read it anymore. It's a damn contest and the rules are so simple: Build a map from scratch like in every contest.. Is that so hard to understand?
I only joined one contest over my mapping career and even I can followed that simple global rule…
Where is the fun and the challenge if you use a nearly finished unreleased map?

And here it comes once again "miss-understanding rules" eternal debate toward a contest rules:
- You need to start working on a map AFTER announcing beginning of contest (an old map might need 1 minute of work for being finished = almost cheating);
- All assets are UT default INCLUDING GOTY with official bonus packs - whoever need files, download all these "packs" and install them properly not lost files posted in forums;
- Bot Support - Operational and Not guessing and without testing and writing "reasons" - it's 2019 BTW - Asking help is under discussion. Without help map might go into another junk posting;
- Net Support - missing this and posting bullshit excuses = -100 points at final voting stage. Again - asking help... - ALL MAPPER can do some probing toward net games - read forum... I had ZERO mapping skill when I started my first net game .
- Crusher map for 80% of players = Forum Warning = Temporary BAN until mapper will get a positive from the medical examination toward mental state. We are not here for ruining game;
- MAP means a file usable not only an UNR file with no purpose;
- Stock re-textured as other lousy simple things are not mapping and not in subject for votes as long as these are not a build from byte Zero.
Fans and Others:
Contributors with various assets, modifications, old unfinished maps and being finished right now, they are welcomed to introduce their show, outside of contest but as Add-Ons, a sort of protocol according to contest event, not a subject for voting winner.

Just stumbled across this thread yesterday. I'm interested but I've also been out of the game for awhile. Not sure if I can get up to speed and produce something quality in time with work and life and such. But I'd like to try! Maybe I'll start drawing/playing around in the Ed and see if I get anywhere in the next week or two. It would be cool to be a part of this.

Well folks, crisis! I can't get anymore big box UTs for prizes.
Not sure what to do. I can get jewel editions of UT99, UT3 (physical and Steam code) and UT 2004. Maybe a Steam code for UT GOTY? I can do that.
