Heh, I'll look into it, probably after the contest. Thankfully I have the image files intact with all the layers so making them will be easy.

I vote for an extension, i can complete a map for current time but unfortunately between work and University i lost a solid of 2 weeks i could have worked on the maps, i still got stuff to do but no more tests until December so im aight to work on this baby full force again but i would prefer an extension :loool: to produce a much better quality final map

_____edit______

A week's delay should be more than enough for me

Sure you can use them. I'll post the link to my utx file below.
The texture pack might get bigger later on since I tend to add new stuff while I work on my map, but rest assured I won't be editing or removing any of the current textures inside the pack.

Download
Thanks! Might be using it as banner for team base or flag base.

For a first map WiP, that actually doesn't look bad at all. I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finished!

I might as well post some WIP too, to show my entry has a pulse! Finishing in time for the deadline is highly unlikely without an extension though.

Aside from the seams, I like how my Sovngarde-inspired skybox is turning out. I used moving panel decorations and warp zones to have a constant meteor shower going on.

Yeah, I'll have to think about that and see if people would like to have that. Some will have to let me know.

In the meantime, anyone wanna bother checking it out for me? I think my lighting are ok but then I've been told I always use bright settings so someone gotta double check on that for me. Let me know!

The lighting is a little dim, but I can see everything alright. The main issue I see so far is that it feels too big. I love the ice theme though!

I think if I add the ice skating feature, it'll let you slide around faster but the problem on that is the bots don't even know how to use them????

I think the lighting is OKish, perhaps a little too bright. I like the way you've got three levels into that space, and so provided for some z-axis action, though it does feel a bit too open - perhaps some higher piles of snow/ice in the corridors, etc to provide a bit more cover and break up the spaces a little.

Certainly having slippery surfaces would be both interesting and entertaining - overall it's coming on nicely - look forward to the finished product :gj:

Currently also working on a map I'm hoping I can finish for November 28th, but gotta admit it's looking a bit tight.
