Monster hunt map is almost ready for testing

Post by TexasGtar »

Just wondering how to go about it. Where should I upload? Anyone interested in testing?
Is this the right forum area to get the ball rolling or anything else I need to know.
I'm doing final testing/tweaking now.

I'd like to test it. Please add a version number or similar to the name to avoid having a map with same name but different content if you release different versions.

I typically just make a post like this · viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6535

Then give it a day to see if anyone responds.

I'd say upload it here but you mentioned it has 50 or 60 MiB? Then I think for the beta versions it would be better to find a free hoster.

New map from TG that's great news! I'll certainly help you test it :)

Since there are a lot of MH fans/players/mappers here you may get lots of suggestions, etc., I would suggest you might want to have your first versions as betas.

I use MediaFire for file hosting space and downloads etc. It's free and works for most folks, and it allows large files (I have map packs on there heh!)

Wow cant wait to see it!
Cheers

Glad to see all the interest. Should have it wrapped up very soon. Just adding some sounds and minor additions.

Test thread is here for feedback.
