I never joined the forum attached to that site, but when they still had their downloads section up I used that a lot.

Would love to see some of the old crew. I would even go so far as to name my hosted server after C1. We played SO MUCH back in the day.

Ah, it is so very nice to see a fellow original ut99 community from back in the beginning (2001) still going good!
Like yours, our "HUTP" UT99 Community forum/site was also born in 2001, and is still going good. (see my signature)

I was not the founder of C1 but that is who we represented. I recently re-installed UT99 and was bummed to find there were no instgig/pulse rifle servers ANYWHERE. So screw it, I purchased a hosted server and made one. My buddy and I are currently playing pretty much each other and bots...lol.
I hope to reunite with some old crew and have some play.
