I would've preferred they fully restored UnrealPlayground's forum than just brought back the downloads. Their forum was kinda dead but new projects did come up, and I had fun digging into their old stuff.

Maybe. But I feel that in some way somehow the UT99 community will find a way to stay together. And I will enjoy the ride while it lasts as much as I can. To this day, no game has come up that I enjoy more than UT99, seriously, and I have tried plenty. Nothing has driven me away from it, so I am sticking with it.

Haha I always thought I'd be playing forever. Life changed and I no longer have the time or interest to play. I still enjoy maintaining our servers and forums, but I don't enjoy the game like I used to. Our donations and players are drying up dramatically. I thought we would see a boom during the pandemic, but alas I was wrong. We donated a server to another group/clan and they seem to be doing well player wise, so there is still hope.

im currently moving stuff over from the sxs monsterhunt to a new one as im no longer in sxs and i started {SFL}snipers for life should be up soon you will still have your own place in there evilgrins
and i was sorting out all the stuff with the sxs forum so still setting up i know some people still like to use forums
