Played a bit and the tanks work well :gj: There is a bit of a problem with the cobble surface right at the start - approach it at the wrong angle and the tank won't move forward - not a big deal though.

Very useful being able to heal the tank - when I first played a map with that gun in, I didn't realise it was a healing gun.

Trying to fight large Skaarj Assassins whilst in a tank is a waste of time - something new I've learnt :P

What's the Shield Tech 'thing'?

Sin2UT weapons are cool but the chaingun throws a lot of log errors (even so I love that gun, especially the alt fire up close) and the twin magnums are not a lot of use TBH.

The Techs

    The Techs work as Relics... you can carry one at each time. To throw them, configure your 'RelicToss' key.

    [b]DoubleDamage[/b]: Increases the damage dealt by 2x.
    [b]Regeneration[/b]: Gain 2 health per second up to 300.
    [b]Shield[/b]: Reduce damage dealt to you by 2/3.
    [b]Fast Grapple[/b]: Increases the speed of your grapple by 2x and reduces falling damage to 0.

Automatically merged

Fix gun heal tank x2 if you very close.

Played a lot more of this map - the tanks work OK though it does get tedious having to manoeuvre through the numerous narrow gateways which are just wide enough to take the largest tank.

Got this in the log regarding one of the tanks

Tanks and very large pawns don't really mix well - if two or three get around the tank then it is often impossible to move the tank and/or to fire the gun - Skaarj in particular get on top of the tank and all kinds of weird and disorienting things tend to happen (the gun turret gets swung round or up, for example). That said, it is fun to drive around and squash the normal sized monsters.

It appears that pupae don't cause any damage to the tank?

Any monsters with melee damage not able hit you if mellee damage radius less from tank collision radius, because you located inside tank with size 0 0.

Manta, fly, puppae, qknight and so on.

Suggestions for map: MH-XV-GiranTown2021

a) 5second re-spawn timer too quick, should be 10 sec at least.

b) vehicles allocation for balanced game play
- at start = jeep only
- at right side of map = Kraht + GK-1
- at left side of map =ML-102

jeeps on start almost useless. They too weak, not able drive + shoot and with weak armor. So you die in it too fast.
Currently not see any big advantages to move red to merc area.
Maybe possible more friendly way: left in same place but unlock later, when merc area open, but again not see really good reasons for do that.

Also I prefer constant main properties on vehicles across game type for not fool players expectations.

That's very true - I did wonder why they were actually there - I suppose they're OK for some suicide runs at the 'Brutes' and Skaarj but that's about it. Don't know if it is possible to give them working guns?

Getting the hang of the tanks now - a fun map just about able to do it by myself though I haven't played quite to the end yet.

FWIW, I think the balance and distribution of the tanks is OK.

Jeeps very fast. SDX is fastest vehicle in game. TDX in speed same as Kraht.

So I usually place Jeeps on start as taxi service. you can load in it with friend and fast reach any other place.
For example on Arden I often use it as taxi for reach Tanks near Nali house, instead of walk to it.

Jeep are 2 seats (driver+gunner)... I could admit at MAP-MH-XV-Grand Canyon ML2 where a cooperation of 2 players is a game changer
(riding a jeep placed at start).

Yes. but for start area of this map jeeps useless.

v1:

- Switch to XVehicles v4
- Remove wrong actors.
- x5 hp for main boss.
- fix statue movement.
- fix teleport usage for tanks.
- fix open last area before time.

start glitch for ride vehicles can not be fixed without rebuild BSP, but there no brushes.
