Anybody else experience this 469 editor crash?

Post by fudgonaut »

You ever try removing brushes from a group and have the editor freeze?

Just wondering if this is a known issue and if there are any workarounds or tricks to prevent it.

What steps for reproduce? If just press as pointed on screen, then this issue fixed for v469c.

I'm on 469b, so I will test with 469c

The crash happened when I clicked on Delete Selected Actor From Group(s) in the button bar in the Groups tab of the Master Browser

If I encounter it again I will submit steps to reproduce along with the offending .unr

Thanks!

Works as expected with 469c. But your first screen may be misleading (the arrow points to button "Deselect" - see also following screenshot).

Yeah, I didn't realize the arrow was off until after I published the picture

It doesn't happen all the time, but I've had it happen to me on at least three maps. My workaround has been to delete and re-build the problematic brush groups, which is less than ideal :(
