Convert from UT2004 for CTF with X-Vehicles this map:

In 469c, off-line with OpenGL and XVehicles v43, I get an odd effect with the GK-1 tank zoom in this map (not in any other map). Zoom in on a target and fire, briefly the zoom will zoom out before zooming in again - can't get a screenshot as it happens quickly (but long enough to be visually disturbing and noticeable). With D3D9 it happens perhaps once but with OpenGL this happens every time I zoom in and fire.

I've seen that before on some of my map edits, and I still don't have 469 so it may not be specific to that.

That's interesting - so not specific to this map, not to 469 and presumably not to OpenGL as you use D3D(?). Perhaps something to do with map geometry though why or how no idea. Remember which maps of yours it happens on?

I also noticed this annoying thing. It happens quite rarely. On any medium-large maps with complex Z-axis geometry on view in zoom moment. At first I even thought this is mouse button rubbish. I am on 436, Wine and EXUOpenGL. I suspect some HUD or weapon mutator. Maybe this performance and connection problem, like channels overload?

I get this with EXUOpenGL - whether moving or stationary - with or without mutators - only in this map (so far) and off-line. So probably not to do with connection problems nor mutators? Possibly to do with map geometry?

There few BSP problems. So entirely possible. Before release original map movers act very buggy. So when you point gun to it and start fire, gun start fire actually backward. Somehow trace point goes to opposite direction.

After remake movers this stop, but there many static meshes converted to brushes, so no wonder if some issues in place.

Also there too many hidden dead zones, and even one masked HOM (guess where :lol2: ).
