The style and textures used reminds me of another DM map

Without wishing to be too pedantic, the map you've linked there is the original version - the one in your screenshots is the larger version edited by Helen which can be found here http://medor.no-ip.org/Maps/DeathMatch/DM-MiseryII.rar

I was alerted to this by first playing the smaller one and I couldn't see 'MIsery' (on the wall in one of your screenshots) anywhere, so I tried the larger one which I had in my folder of unplayed maps and found that that was the one with 'the writing on the wall'. Another clue from the screenshots is the poster which isn't in the smaller version.

The Helen version is certainly the better of the two and, as I hadn't played it before, nice to be made aware of it :tu:

Nah, don't worry, you are correct. I like playing both versions. :D

The latest assortment of screenshots which may, or may not, have anything to do with each other.

For some time now Konoko has been meaning to go back to Sleepy Town as she has fond memories of the good times she had there before - so no time like the present - but ...

to her horror it has been taken over by the Skaarj and not just any ordinary Skaarj but some fearsome advanced Skaarj mutations

The shadowy Smoke Assassin - so called because it fires deadly, explosive smoke
SmokeAss.png

A Slime Warrior - normally it lives in slime and, of course, it fires slime
SlimeW.png

A angry Skaarj Blaster - the remains of its previous victim in the background - turned into goo by the Blaster's powerful explosive projectiles
SkaarjB.png

Further evidence of the Skaarj's programme of genetic modification - the Imp Brute - a splicing together of a Doom Imp and a Brute - it sounds like both but fires the Imp's fire balls
ImpB.png

"Showtime!" as Konoko heads out to show them that they're all going to get "beat by a girl". Will she be back again in Sleepy Town? We'll just have to wait and see!!
