Before you go there, no I haven't played this yet but I had a question.

Why can't players pick up items, like ammo or health, while in vehicles?

When bots have a shieldbelt in vehicles you can see their feet are visible on the underside, so why wouldn't driving over health pick it up??

I'm asking as screenshots you have up there show lines of vials.

If question "why not?"
Because it is out of concept of XV/VCTF.

If question "Why this not work technically?"
Because Players/Bots inside vehs collide only with level, not with actors.

Anyway there exists bug: https://github.com/OldUnreal/UnrealTour ... issues/773
Which allow bots take inventory, without exit. But this work only for bots, And it is bug, which be fixed with time.

... which will lead to another bug... from now on Bot will not pick up item but if it's having a desire for that thing will do something like for UDamage when has StrenghtRelic, running in place unable to get UDamage because relic does the denial :lol: . Discarding the touch for "Inventory" when Bot wants it is a BAD idea, unless you will need to adjust main desire function from Inventory class... Keep going with modifications...

Medium sized map, multiple levels, not too many vehicles but... seems kinda cramped.

I test with a standard 8 players, 4 to a team, and there were points it just seemed like there was too much going on in that amount of space.

Bots use the whole area nicely.
