Quake and Unreal tournament?

Post by Tempura »

Wanna see if i can make ut 99 look like quake 1 as much as possible. I noticed having texture filtering off helps a bit, but graphics arent pixelated enough. Any suggestions?

There's a number of Quake themed maps already, you could get the right texture packages from those to source.

There's a good mutator/weaponspack too:

But also, I think he means Quake 1996, not Q3A.

You might want to check this map, to give you some ideas, maybe? https://unrealarchive.org/maps/unreal-t ... 647fc.html

Pixelated textures? Try setting the following in your UT ini (under [WinDrv.WindowsClient] and anywhere else where they occur) to Low
SkinDetail=High
TextureDetail=High

There's also some Quake monsters, that're okay but not all that great.
