unrealed.info was long time a great source for mapping,
nowadays it is down, after long time the forum didn't work at all.
Does anyone have an idea why, who is responsible for it? Since DSGVO one cannot get a .de domain owner anymore
>>You can't steal any ip (v4)adresses, there are exactly 4294967296 of them, and they will still exist when you wrote down all of them, or are stored in a (master)servers database <<
It had many exclusive maps. I got maps (from LightningHunter) that were grabbed from there and haven't been uploaded anywhere else. If anyone has that particular owner's contact info or whatever else, any way to get the maps that were published there on the daily, I'd appreciate it.

The old owner was mbot, not sure of whatevr irl name they went by. It went downhill after some of the oldschool mappers started trolling the board. When UT boards went generally silent and less populated after the initial 2k4 hype was over, it probably didn't seem like a good idea to just keep up the site. Eventually the domain just wasn't kept online and its contents were lost.
Creavion was part of of that community but afaik never in admin positions. Him becoming sour was years later, here. Still not sure why.
As far as I know he didn't liked the atmosphere on unrealed.info ...
And therefore I thought he had at least some dispute with the staff there, that's why I thought he might know someone of the staff or the owner.
"Everyone is an idea man. Everybody thinks they have a revolutionary new game concept that no one else has ever thought of. Having cool ideas will rarely get you anywhere in the games industry. You have to be able to implement your ideas or provide some useful skill. Never join a project whose idea man or leader has no obvious development skills. Never join a project that only has a web designer. You have your own ideas. Focus on them carefully and in small chunks and you will be able to develop cool projects."
LOL what a rabbithole, finding this post. Had some nostalgia and was looking at old archive.org snapshots of Unrealed.info.
Anyway, I know the guy who used to run the forum. Idk if he still has any backups or anything, but if you guys like I could ask him.
EDIT: Crazy how many names I still know here, still active in the community.

download links for maps/mappack does not work anymore, maybe someone at old staff could upload their old content to mega/mediafire/whatever so they send to unrealarchive.org

So.. you're alive as well!
I am! Though not involved in any kind of mapping anymore. I've moved on to other things
