I am but a humble editor of maps, tweaking and altering existing maps with the help of others to make them more fun or wildly chaotic.

Hm. Hard to tell.
I think I have to go with DM-Maris, because I never got a layout this right again ever after. Still competently made and atmosphere's solid.
2nd, I think of CTF-FoT-Selket. Easily the best and most balanced CTF I've made. Still looks good, too.
3rd, DM-TMC-Narean, I think, mostly because that terrain was almost impossible to build. Took years, too.
Also kinda proud of CTF-XC-Peak17. Although I can totally see it being too dark by now, I made that map in about a week or so and for that it's absolutely massive.

As for other people's maps.
DM-Brunel by Lruce Bee, just solid, frantic. Looks great. Good atmosphere, pretty balanced overall.
CTF-ProjectX2 by Shock Systems was eye opening back then. Great looking map, interesting layout. A bit stale to play and the terrain doesn't hold up to what I now know about terrain making, but very solid map.
CTF-DeNovo by Ulukai, just a great CTF map. Layout isn't too complex, but looks great, has good flow, great atmosphere as well.

This is a hard question for me to answer, honestly. But if I had to, I think it'd be either FD-Twilightwood or CTFM-Samira. I'd consider those two to be the best maps I made for UT.

And for maps made by someone else, I think it'd have to be any map made by Swanky or Revelation.

Favorite map made by myself: I had a great deal of fun making DM-DSBacktoSchool. But, having said that, I enjoyed some aspect of development on all the maps I have released.

Nice work.

I couldn't play every map mentioned above, some of them had missing files, but the ones I did play looked pretty impressive.

Especially Maris by Swanky, DeNovo, and Back to School by browndl which (as always) just has a very unique consistent style to it.

FD-Twilightwood and CTFM-Samira by KoolFlux, very nice.

Anything by [CSC] of course looks great, nice video, particularly that Mine Craft map. Even the clouds look cool.

DM-OunReal by Virgile is just plain cra-cra. I love it when maps are completely unorthodox, uninhibited like that. What mapping is all about.

Keep 'em coming folks, don't be afraid to post a little humble-brag about yourselves. You earned it.

My absolute Fave is still CTF-Epicboy it's a stock map but for my taste one of the best regarding layout and visuals.
CTF-FacePalm ...astonishing visuals. Layout is very close to the default Facing Worlds but 101% nicer for the eyes. https://unrealarchive.org/unreal-tourna ... bbc10.html

My favorite that I made is probably CorporateOffice. It's not as vertical as I'd want, but I find it a lot of fun to play nonetheless. My favorite community has and always will be DM-Dogtown by Judas Sinn, just something so perfect about it for me. I've tried to emulate it many times, but never got anywhere near it. My favorite OG map is probably Morpheus.

I think my best map is DM-Trenchdog, it's just fast and watch your back all over the place, all the time, but still have quick cover.

And, I think the other mapper, is that damn Drew and his SkaarjTower maps . Gives me the BSP chills, don't even dare open them in the editor.
Still don't see how he did that without endless BSP holes.
Plus it's a long playing SP map, it is very gratifying to play both those levels, hard spots, and a long way to go.

I think my favourite ones I have either remixed or made myself are {SFL}hall of Valhalla, morgue revisited special room,camp and run,to be honest most of the maps I have worked on I like in some certain way or another

Very sleek looking office building. Kind of reminds me of Max Payne with a lot of modern glass and gray steel architecture.
