Re: package credits version mismatch
Just delete the files you already have and try to rejoin the server.

if not then what you need to do is retrieve the correct files for that particular server from bonus packs or patches. i think either way you would be shutting yourself out of half the servers
this posted solution of deleting files will work if the client and server are configured correctly to download missing files but i would advise to be careful deleting files that are part of what the game needs to run
Re: package credits version mismatch
thanks for all your help. I found out my mistake it was a model I put in and when I took it out it worked so thanks again

Re: package credits version mismatch
I ran into this problem today as well. What had happened was...
I had updated my server with OldUnreal-UTPatch469e-Linux-x86.tar.bz2 but had updated my client with OldUnreal-UTPatch469e-Linux-amd64.tar.bz2
so credits.umx was conflicting. The solution was to simply extract the contents of OldUnreal-UTPatch469e-Linux-amd64.tar.bz2 into the server and then restart.
works fine.
I think maybe OldUnreal-UTPatch469e-Linux-x86.tar.bz2 is designed for much older, 32bit systems, and was incorrect for my server anyhow.
