Along with my computer slowly dying again (already can't play UT on it anymore as it won't run the game properly) over the last couple days my brain has been doing something similar.

Had numerous points where I can't remember much of anything. Some of these I remember, some others have told me about as I was drawing a blank.

On the off-chance this keeps happening, I want you to know I've had a lot of fun with you guys... even with that weirdo over in the corner. You know who you are.

Try to upgrade parts of yourself and your life and see how that goes, It is something that I do myself, for everything that I want, I do swear word by word 24/7 to help remind myself, usually of habits I want to develop.
Look at yourself at the mirror, and if you don't grin like crazy, go get started, but I may also be speaking too ahead of what you want to make us understand if that's so I'm sorry.

Site does periodic maintenance and it goes blank for that, but it's working now. Although Russia bought LJ years ago so if you can't normally see Russian sites that could be it too.

We've interacted sparingly over the years but I tend to check your pic posts often (well, you post a lot of them. Everywhere ).

Listen, take care of yourself. Whatever it is. If you're feeling off. I don't know your medical history but I went through a bout of insomnia myself for nearly ten years. I stopped drinking soda and cut caffeine from my diet for a long while and changed my diet all together (it's amazing how much of your mood and mental faculty shifts once you stop eating that stuff that is messing you up). It helped and kept me on the narrow for a good long while and the best part is I've kept a sleep schedule for the last fifteen years that has made me feel like a normal person.

As for UT. Buy a laptop. A cheap one. I've got UGold 227 and UT469 on this silly little nothing Dell and while I mostly map and do mod dev work on it for those games I can test levels and play UT just fine.
