UnrealI monster in MH map crashes the game

Post by lafoxxx »

When I trigger specific monster (Krall, SkaarjSniper) and run away it crashes the game:

Why? Bad MonsterHunt version? It says I have 613.
Affects both regular and CreatureFactory-spawned monsters.

Operating system? UT version? Is it map specific?

Windows 22H2, UT from "Unreal Anthology" CD patched to 469 RC8
All maps I create
Testmap attached (to reproduce, attack Krall when Pupae is killed and Ghost out of the room)

Runs without problems here on Win10 and UT469f Preview 20250619 and also on UT436.

What is the checksum of your UnrealShare.u? For 469-RC8 SHA1 should be c0efc13a8cc8868caa4e168a27610bb893e338a9, file size 22195438 Bytes (you can use 7zip for example to determine check sums). If not, maybe reinstall UT patch.

Thanks, that fixed it.
I did restore some resource files form the older archive (I don't like new menu textures, for example), but could've gotten too carried away
