How did you know?
Also, I realized I'm the first to use a mover in this map
Textures and doorways gave it away :P
I don't have Rodin on my HD anymore, but from what I remember it was mostly blue.
Did you make the textures red yourself?
And about that mover, it's silent, but that can be fixed in phase 2.
If we ever get there

@Crev

I agree. Copying "good" examples is probably the best method of learning how and why something works.
I've done my share of clone maps as well. After you copy long enough, you start to blend them together and eventually form your own style.

Exactly. :agree1:
About to be non-active
My very last UT map project: CTF-FacePalm (tropical CTF-Face remake)
Why do I leave? click here
What I want to do next: Joining an UDK team (uncertain however) and improve 3D modelling and texture editing skills
Thanks to those who visibly supported me until/at the end!

I never copied anything from other maps. I always had my own style which changed from time to time (my style at the moment is a bit inspired by what I liked the most from ONP when I played it two years ago, though). So this is example that it also works the other way round

No, those textures I used are from Rorshach's SingleMalt texture set. Their default colours are red and white. The blue textures in Rodin are probably edits.

I was a bit lazy to apply sounds to my elevator

So I think I'm in the right way.

We'll get there sometime... all we need is more mapping.

There we go! Owke it still looks like a stupid cube... but the hallway/cave thingy down works so far... And have faith in me... the cave WILL look nice  I maybe work at it tonight before i go on holiday... have to look nice to my girlfriend if i can to

The arrows give you guys an idea how the walkway work... there is a little shaft where you can jump in to get a level lower (quick and small painfull fall)

Can you post a screen on top view with grid, please? Maybe I will build another room which connects mine with your cave. Then I need the measurement of the space between the two parts. ;)

We've reached the end of phase 1. There is no more building how you may want to.

As soon as Gen's cave is ready and Dave finishes his tiny room. I hope we can have an ALPHA test. Then it's time for phase 2. Don't stop working on your section just because of this. It's needed and has to be done eventually.

@Dave i think you can grab a bit more space if you need, Gen already has a huge cave to make.

If Aalex left us here only with hope somebody is going to have to that section instead of him.

Somebody has to take care of the other side of the teleporter room.

And one more qquestion....

What happens to the part marked whit ? We'll handle this in phase 2. Just post some suggestions. Almost the same situation as before. I think an evelator is needed here.
