CTF-w00telectric (in other words my latest map)

So here it is. After some attempts at making a nice complicated w00t, I scraped 80% of the project and heavily modified it, simplified it. And this is the shocking outcome.

These are actual screenshot, but they might look different cause i use D3D8 renderer.

That looks like a great map :D I love simple maps, less laggy and more simple.

Well not so simple in graphics. Poly count can jump up to 500 but it will usually stay at 150-300
And your video card also has to draw 2 huge masked surfaces + 2 huge transparent surfaces. On some older video cards or software rendering that's not very fast. But a decent video card will draw it whitout any problem.

Yay another w00t map, it's good to see mappers who make such maps. :D

Clearly this map has pretty unique visual style, at least I havent seen maps like this before. Although light colors a a little bit random , it looks pretty good. The worst part of the map is gameplay. It clearly lacks Zaxis, there is no even basic height variation. More than that, it feels pretty straight-forward which is bad.

I would suggest remaking layout of this map with more Zaxis 'cause at this state map isnt that fun as it could be. Gl.

Just a question, are there any reference maps?

The map was not intended for zaxis fun.

I like the lighting effects at the edge of the map. I'd say this would be an amusing arena map.
