We need some more history....

I was just looking for a post from a few months ago. It's not listed in the "Recent" bubble on the main page anymore. Is it easily do-able to expand the recent "announcements", "popular topics", and "topics"? The truncated bubble is fine the way it is, it's be kinda nice to click on "recent topics" and see everything chronologically going back further than five subjects.

If one of the "important topics" gets unpinned it mostly means its not important anymore, out of date or whatever. Since you dont tell me what you exactly try to find, I only can suggest you to use the forum search, like always in such cases.

Now that's some irony....an 11 year old game we're all still playing and you say something's out of date or unimportant.

Jesus. Don't be such a drama queen. We pin mostly threads which are related to the forum itself. In less cases also other threads. Would not be a good idea to pin anything forever. And imagine, even old games can get News. BTW, your thread example is not even related to Unreal Engine unmentionable related to Unreal Tournament.

Forgive me....this post was rather rash and rude at first. Creavion, that's not that attitude that leads to keeping fans and supporters around. I was trying to make a humble suggestion to the site.....if this is the criticism you greet everybody with, I think I'm done here.

And forgive me.. this topic is not even related to Unreal Engine, like I already said. Thats the fact. Not any need to pin that topic. Why is that so hard to understand? Thats just some "Future of game engine" thread.

Yes it is a fact, and not one I'm questioning. What I was asking about was the ability to expand the recent bubbles to go back maybe two months at the most. The current five at first glance are fine, considering the activity of the forum. It just so happened what I was looking for was off topic and irrelevant to what's happening here. None the less...I can't be the only one looking for something more than a few weeks old. It was a suggestion to make things slightly easier to find. A whole forum search for "point cloud rendering" came up with nothing. A search for "unlimited detail" did though. And that was only after finding what I wanted at Youtube and reading the phrase I should have searched for here.

Hehehe.....alright I see the flaw in my logic. That'd be a lot of clutter then. I was thinking strictly new topics, just in general, not ones I've read.
