UT has given me a decade+ of some of the best entertainment I've ever had. Anything I can do to help is simply a down payment against the good it has done for me. My email is agutgopostal at hotmail dot com. Tell him I'll set UA up with anything it needs.

Up/Down/Up/Down only hurts the continuation of the game. .... UA is arguably the center point of what's left of online players. It's quite disheartening to not see guys circling the wagons around it since there is obviously trouble.
Very true words!

I can't tell you how many times I was able to solve a problem by just using the Search feature there.
At the very least, a read-only archive of all the advice, tricks & tips and how-to posts should be accessible and mirrored for situations like this.

I am more than happy to set aside space at unrealfuzz for storage, links or whatever seems fit.

We've seen players come together for the Collab Mapping project (finish it please so I can whine about converting it all to MH :lol2: ), why not accept the help when it's offered? Temporary access for several of us to clean up & organize, in a concerted effort, will make sure this gets done.

UT is the Grand Daddy of FPS, let us all continue to give it the respect it deserves.

Eloquent.

Skillz will MP allow you to make a database copy at least to have as a searchable backup? I can't see any reason at all they wouldn't grant you a backup. Have you contacted them?

That's the downloads section but most of those files are mirrored all over the place. What needs to be protected are all the postings into the forums. That's the collective knowledge of a generation of UT players/admins/developers.

I'm talking to multiplay directly. I'll let you know what they tell me.

I explained to Meat about what's up. It's not you, get him to fill you in.

On multiplay I'm getting nothing but silence now. This looks bad.

By the sounds of things in my opinon is that the website is no more, and if this is true its bad news for UT. Its a shame but im surprised not one person anywere has been given back up files for this website to start it up somewere else :what: This could be a little bit of hope this website may just be down but not out, if someone spent a lot of time on somethink i would of thoght that they would pass it on to someone else and not let it die. :?

It's back and it should stay up now. We just have to restore the attachments on the forum now.
