Is it strictly UT3? Because if it's not I think we already have a winner.

It's a shame that's for UT3 only. :sad2:
If it was UT99 too, i would participate and lose the contest :loool:
To noob even on UT99, to make something Unreal (even that I am currently building a SP Mod).
I didn't even tried to play UT3 :loool:

Ok, thats weird, but why the hell do you want to import there a 256 color pcx :confused2:

Maybe because most of my textures are in that format so I can import them to ued2.
And bang ! Ued4 crashes by some 10 year old file format.

If you wanna oldskool on this level, convert the pcxs to bmp, maybe to 24 bit and thats it... but I cant imagine why those really old textures should be there... I mean, you wouldnt import the sprite weapons from Doom 1 into UT(2k4) either, wouldnt you?

Umh... lol...
It's just that all the textures that I made were saved in 8-bit pcx.

This contest will definitely boost UT3 popularity and we'll see some great mods and maps. :tu:

Yep, because UT3 will never have the "UT99 feeling", unless that with this contest, maybe we can see something interesting...

There are hundreds of times more UT99 Mods, than UT2003, UT2004 and UT3 together

Even if some of them never had been released to public.

Seriously, to use such old textures in the unreal engine 3 ... thats really really ... I dont say it..

But whatever: change those textures to 24 bit and save them as bmp, then it should work with the import...

damn, I am little bit offtopic...
