I know people who argue the converse
alternative answer:
Playing games can inspire you for creating maps
About to be non-active My very last UT map project: CTF-FacePalm (tropical CTF-Face remake) Why do I leave?click here What I want to do next: Joining an UDK team (uncertain however) and improve 3D modelling and texture editing skills
Thanks to those who visibly supported me until/at the end!
My reactivated account on indiedb.com.
Not all games are a waste of time.
I also play Trackmania Nations Forever once in a while. I also have TM original. And TM Nations registered. (TMs are my fav racing games ^^)
As for the "Playing games can inspire you for creating maps" part I play older games. They're a lil bit more original. And they don't only inspire you for creating maps. ^^
@Shade: I play TrackMania Nations one (the free one, because I'm a cheap guy ), and that game is awsome (I built some tracks for it too).
P.S.: Is that video yours? If it is, are you a Naruto anime fan? (because I know the first music very well) If it is, so you are a damn good player
Only F1.
But graphics are better (no worries, no need for better gpu), and there are a lot of new pieces for the maps. Now you can even add water into the stadium.

PS: how do you add vehicles?
Well, I have to check out that at home (I don't play since a while), then I give feedback so you can add your own cars
