Hey I got dm-xmasroom (it let me download this time) not sure if this is the current link to the file but...

I put it on Zippyshare:
http://www10.zippyshare.com/v/76602372/file.html
and on uploadmirrors (skip YOURFREE DOWNLOADER and pick another mirror... Load.To seems to be the best):
http://uploadmirrors.com/download/ZPKSZ ... ASROOM.rar

Stupid upload sites, why do we want to deal with crap just to get files that we are sharing.
Hopefully this will enable all the maps on the contest page so we can all not deal with crap from the upload sites.

When I first found out I was sick I shut everything down. Financially this has killed us and because of this I can't do anything to support the contest that would require money. However I'm more and more homebound as my treatment progresses and within a week or two I'll be unable to work at all. It would be no problem to set up my home server here with the maps from the contest if it's something you guys might like? It's not a problem for me, it would give me something to do instead of watching Oprah :omfg:

The only down side is I don't have a redirect so I'll have to set one up from here also. That will somewhat lag the server a little bit if several people join at once but at least you could play the maps as they are intended. Euro ping would be a bit high but it's more a demo server than a competition server so it could work.

Anyway if you want it put up just let me know and I'll arrange it.
So long, and thanks for all the fish

Good timing, I was going to suggest we get a UT99.org server up for the crimbo maps.

If the maps are put in UT-Files, we could use that for redirects, but CoralCDN will pick up the slack once the files are in the system.
First connection can be slow, as the files first get sucked in, but as long as files are requested hourly, they will stay live in the CDN.
Speeds will vary, depending on your closest cache, but the more people request data, the more it replicates and the faster it gets.
..."swings and roundabouts"

You could probably cheat the system, by pinging the files every 59 minutes ;)

Guh, by NO MEANS is this a final version. Just something to make the entry deadline. :?
Also, NO IDEA why that's the time listed for my post, I'm in the East Coast, united states, *definitely* submitted this before 12:00 am, here anyway... :D Scroll all the way down to see what I mean
