Hi guys,
I've installed UT game again and just wondered about S3 textures? I know I do not need this but if the game looks better I'd like to give it a go - does anyone know if my card ATI Radeon 4550 HD supports this feature? If so - do I need to do anything in regards to enabling this?
Any advice would be appreciated thanks!

Your card should fully support S3TC textures. I've tested it myself couple of years ago without issues. Look for this guide to enable them: http://www.ut99.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=373

Anyone have the dlls? S3MeTaL is very smooth on slow computers but when I needed it I could never find the dlls. Still worked though

Medor, please use the authors site for links to the replacement textures.
Also you have only posted links to 1 of the packs, which may not be the one required.
These packs come in 4 flavours, depending on your preference and the screen-size you use.

http://www.uttexture.com/UT/Downloads/Textures/
As you are using an ATI card, you should be using the DX9 renderer (or DX10 if you are using Vista and above)
