Hi, FYI, I was looking for the exact same thing for UT 99' and found a mutator that does a great job.

Go to: http://unrealtournament.99.free.fr/utfi ... ?dir=Mods/

and download Tps.zip. This does a decent job and is comparable to the ut2k4 3rd person mutator. Looks like it was still in development and never finished, but it does the job for me.

EDIT: Also nice to see people still playing with UT99 around 14 years after it was released! Just revisiting this great game after so many years.

BTW. there are tools that let you extract files and view readmes etc. without DLing the file. V.Handy

Tried that tps.zip thingy, and I got to say, it works pretty neat both the crosshair and a little laser appear. Also it's nice to see that you can adjust the angle of the camera a bit by the ini options.
