[TUTORIAL] How To Make Custom Edited Bots
If you like to set-up your Bots you will like this!
  • Open your UnrealED, go to Actors, Pawn > Bot > (?)
Image
  • Open a model package, or put standard Male/Female skin, etc.
  • Set in the map where you want, and go to the Properties > Display
  • Go to the MultiSkins and set the textures what you want

  • Save the map and enjoy your custom textured Bots!

NOTE:
  • You can change everything in the Display, Fatness, Style, etc.
  • Sadly, you can't set the Bots name (Standard name is: Player)

I don't know, "Development School" is Ferali's topic I think
It's everyone's section, thus anyone can post stuff there without any problem. Although this case wouldn't really fit "Development School", this topic fits this exact section (Tips, Tricks & Tutorials) like a glove, and that's the only reason why I won't move it. :wink:

I just find a better version how to put your custom edited Bots to your map.
Make a room with slime zone and put the Bots in the air. If starting the game the Bots are automatically falling down to the slime zone and respawn with Enforcer.
That's better, because if you set the Bots just in your map the Bots don't have weapon. So the Bots just laming without weapon.
And sure you will have advantage because the Bots will have -1 Frag.
I made some pictures how I set the Bots and some "new" Bots what I made.
I think I will release that map (When I once finish it... Too much To-Do List...) where I use this Bots, just that's a special map which can load my Tweak effects. (Text/Color/Skins/Projectiles/Sounds/Weapons/Textures/etc.) Thats a Deck16][ map what I modified.

This could do with renaming.
This is a guide to re-skinning pawns in maps.

Custom edited bots would be something like http://www.unrealsp.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2652
or the U1 creature bots

This could do with renaming? How? There is an option in the Properties +Pawn +MenuName: ? - But with that don't work.
But yes, it's re-skinning and custom editing. Why? You can setup everything which is appearance related.
I don't really understand what you mean with this pawns, that's just only re-textured pawns if I remember good.
U1 Creature Bots, I don't really know how works these I never played with U1.

How do I add the bot stopped?
