Check your system for malware. (try e.g. Malwarebytes AntiMalware Free)
I don't see any reference to that website in the UI of NoScript, Ghostery or AdBlock in Firefox, so maybe it was actually inserted by your browser due to a local infection.

The google crawler follows all links that are on a site (even images, thus that's why they have indexed images associated with a site as well). There is also some evidence on the web that they also are already executing javascript as well (not only to look for potential malware, but to be able to index ajax requests and any javascript generated content, something the crawlers are generally incapable of).

In your case Paper, you had a link to your comic in your signature which is hosted in smackjeeves which was considered to be of malware origin for some reason (valid or not).
Now, I know for a fact that google isn't as good as detecting malware as most people think, and hence there many many situations where they caught "malware" that wasn't malware, and also the other way around happens a lot.

Regardless, until the situation is resolved in the smackjeeves site, is best to remove any references to it.
Paper, I noticed that your signature has an extra "h" in that link, did you do that on purpose now after this or was already that way before?

Don't you know the new Hyperspace HyperText Transfer Protocol? Malware-safe and provides much better download speeds. ;)

Rule Number 1:
If you have a problem with a suspicious site NEVER give a working clickable link to it.
Provide a link to the site with the report
http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diag ... jeeves.com
https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/smackjeeves.com
https://www.virustotal.com/en/url/db59a ... 391921346/

Use a better browser and it won't be a problem.
Google chrome provides you with "Google web"
Other browsers provide you with "all the web"

Firefox and Opera will let you set plugins to load on demand, so no java or flash is activated until you allow it (this also stops lots of adverts).
Use this with plugins such as Web Of Trust, Virus Total and Ghostery

No, he isn't lol. Although custom protocols are common, like "unreal://" for example, but "hhttp://" isn't registered for any app afaik.

@Flay: I would suggest people to stay out of Chrome if they really aim for security. Firefox is much more reliable in that aspect (I don't know about Opera though).
Chrome has often problems with security, like bugs concerning the SSL certifications, malware detection, etc... needless to say that pretty much everything they have for stuff like that are not from their original authorship (they always bought the security stuff from someone else and didn't use it as good as they should, specially in the Android field).

No really, secure your browser using freely available add-ons. NoScript alone already provides a level of security hardly any anti-virus tool can achieve, because almost all exploits are based on JavaScript or plug-ins. The general idea is that you don't want unknown sites to execute any kind of scripts or embedded objects until you allow them to. For sites you trust you can easily add whitelist entries in a matter of one or two clicks when you first visit the site.

+1. I haven't used anti-virus or malware software in years, thanks to locking down my browser (Firefox) and of course, being careful about downloading. Anti-virus software is a resource hog in my experience and can often be the cause of overall system instability.

There's nothing wrong with having an up-to-date on-demand scanner available in case you need to perform a quick check after something weird. Also a basic anti-virus tool like Microsoft Security Essentials (or Defender on Win8) is a good idea if you ever consider plugging in someone else's USB stick or log into someone else's network or visitors log into your network.

I agree with Firefox and noscript + adblock edge. Chrome is faster on my system, but not worth the security risk imo.
