So, I've found a few maps which a pretty impressive, and I think I should recommend them to you guys. And as such I have created tGMRT - the General Map Recommendations thread. This thread is meant for reporting maps which are awesome, telling about their pros and cons, etcetera, so please do not throw it offtopic. And if it does go offtopic, then refrain from throwing the offtopic off its topic.
First map I want to recommend was originally recommended by UnrealGecko/GEx: CTF-Times (Facing Times aka the Bridge above the Stars)
Since I can't find a screenshot of it anywhere, I'll simply put it like this:
Red team's tower and bridge-half is designed to have a medieval design to it, using what appears to be a few textures from the original Unreal - namely in a few decorative areas.
Blue team's tower and bridge section appear to be a bit more generic towards our series, what with looking like a Terran outpost of some technological advance.
In other words, one side represents the distant past while the other shows either the present (UT time) or the future (real time).
Under the bridges lie another way to enter the enemy base, effectively a lowered bridge. Again the details reflect the above description. Behind the towers, both on the normal and lower bridges lie a teleporter to the enemy bridge with an Invisibility ready to go. This allows for a sneaky approach.
The towers themselves are considerably complex in their infrastructure, yet the design vaguely reflects that of its original, Facing Worlds. I have not yet entirely explored the place but its pretty massive. Multiple TPs transport you to varying areas, from the tower's basement to the sniper's ledge; both the back TP and the frontal area can be protected with sniper fire. Both towers have entrances for all four sides.
The map also includes some jump pads to help speed up your progress to the enemy base, but they are one-way only, likely to prevent an easy cap.
Pros:
-Large map, good for 12-20 or even 24 players
-Interesting design
-Multiple attack routes
-Well detailed
-Map feels like it was made for NW3, IMO.
Cons:
-The map is so large that the standard UT rifles don't even reach over the "hill". If you intend on playing without modified weaponry then you'll have to wait for the enemy team to get to the hill before you can start shooting.
-Very confusing for those who are new to the map
-May lag with NW3 on (It does on my computer)
-Watch your step on the lower bridge.
All in all, my personal opinion is 8/10. High map detail combined with NW3 kills FPS but the design of the map more than makes up for that hiccup.
Recommended alterations: Music and turn off reverb. The music is just from the normal CTF-Face so I changed it to that of Fragnbrag's UnrealGateways map. The reverb is horrible here IMO, you should shut it off in UEd. Plus IIRC it saves a lot of FPS.
No screenies. HDD died, taking my OS and everything else with it. Will be added in future.

Note: Don't worry, the 404 at the end of the link doesn't seem to indicate the file being broken... it's just the file ID
