Looking for a UT2004 map that had huge gun on base

Post by Phorce »

Hi,

I just trawled through MapRaider looking for this map and the nearest thing I found was this - http://www.mapraider.com/maps/unreal-to ... NS-PM-Lore ... I think that shows the huge base defence gun that each base had in the map I'm thinking of. I've no idea why its not still in my map folder as everything else is.

The Onslaught map had two heavily built bases, big stone walls. Each had one of these huge cannons on it. The map was a brightly lit, medium sized, desert map with not that much in it apart from the Onslaught nodes.

So, anyone ?

I'm somewhat hampered by the fact I don't have access to my computer at the moment, but it sounds familiar...

Does this look familiar?

Yes, Hi, the theme's right ... desert. But it was basically just a flat desert with very little in the way of variable terrain. Plus the base did not just have the usual laser or MG turrets, but some HUGE turret. But AT LAST, I've found out that it was in fact the Ion Cannon ! ...

I found a few maps that have that cannon. Playing them might remind me. Any ideas appreciated in the meantime.
