A little goal for us to work towards (Playermodel Ideas)

So we have playermodels of the Predator, Slith, Skaarj Trooper, and Mercenary.
So with that considered, how far off would you say we are from getting a Skaarj Warrior playermodel? I'm sure Evilgrins would appreciate the idea as much as I. Now I know that there is UTMCoop, but that still maintains their original height and doesn't hold its weapon. Theres plenty of Skaarj Warrior skins out there just waiting to go by the potential of a playermodel, but Im curious if it's Raziks will need to be removed for clipping reasons.

So yeah, A Skaarj Warrior player would be great, I doubt anyone will consider this for a while, but it doesn't hurt to share your ideas right?

I'm surprised there isint a UMS Marine playermodel though. That walk cycle still cracks me up.

Ive seen this gamemode before, However its only that. I swear i've seen an actual playermodel of the UMS Marine.

EDIT: Image Looks like its for Unreal, But I'm convinced through a few script tweaks it can be used in UT. I doubt anyone will wanna make Team Skins though.

SKtroopers are taller than normal players, so shouldn't these be too?

I knew you'd like it Evilgrins. I actually had you in mind while requesting this. Also, There is an option to resize SkTroopers in the Oldskool menu. And yep, the Claws are apparently called Raziks.

I've got the original version of Oldskool, the resizing option doesn't exist in this version... least I don't think it... I'll check.

In any case, there was a later release of SKtrooper models for players but it had issues. Kept locking up and freezing in place on bots... so they would literally be stuck until someone swung by and killed them.

I too have some great ideas for Skaarj skins. Especially considering the different types of Skaarj in EXU2 and G59. In fact, thats another main reason why I requested this; there are just so many skins of the Skaarj!

Your Blue Skaarj above seem to be traditionally holding weapons in the left hand; traditional of most Skaarj...

...but how many Blue Skaarj are in that screenshot?

I see an obvious 3 but in the lower left of the pic there's a weapon just barely in view. Is that being held by another Blue Skaarj not in frame, or is that one on the left holding a weapon in his right hand?

I guess you didn't read the description on the page before downloading
UMSSpaceMaine contains all new animation sequences for a new scriptedpawn ver of the spacemarine which can be placed into existing games with "monsterspawn".

A new type of armor "MarineSuits" which has 4 variations. Jungle marine suit, Arctic marine suit,
Desert marine suit and SpaceMarine Suit. Unlike other armors, the marinesuits are actually worn by the player or bots and contain radar and marine voice ability.
Select voices from the voice menu or use hotkeys which can also be created from within its own menu system.
Each suit also comes with its own special abilities, self recharging armor and power supply.

Duke Nukem style tripwire mines and a mutator that places the suits and tripwires into any map.

Supports both Unreal1 and UT 99

Works in just about any Unreal1 or UT game type an has team support.

Is to be released in Firestorm and RTNP2U projects but thought it might be enjoyed also as a stand alone mod.

Yes I am aware that it is compatible with both U1 and UT99 But it isint actually a playermodel, rather just a gamemode powerup. At least it doesent appear in the UT99 player select. And I use the extended menu. I feel as if im missing something. If so, please point it out.

Someone would need to configure it to be a playable character, as any other player type model. It comes from a .u but it has no .int for player usage.

Now, if I recall, a stretch back (think it was Doc Flay) someone revealed a way to get any Unreal1 monster as a selectable player pawn.

There are only 2 Skaarj. The one holding the Rocket Launcher is me.
Its a mirror which shows me as Skaarj with Rocket Launcher. The one my the left is Archon - the Bot who is holding Enforcer.

Probably. I can skin most any model (exception of a player-class for the Warlord) I just need to see the file setup of the SkaarjWarrior. Need to know the name of the .int & .u to get it going. When you release your BETA of them, I'll give it a go.
