hiyall, i'm back to ut99 for the next little while - hopefully during May I will complete several map projects since they can now finally get addressed :)

Here's this Fallen Angel DOM map - it is a complex 5 CP multi-level circuit layout originally designed for the 2006 FoT#3 mappack but was never completed.
i'm playing/testing 4 team DOM in this one and it's looking quite balanced with teams of two, three, and four (that's 8 to 16 players in total) but i will like a sanity check
I had some beta testing done already by Tom_caT (who's now a game design student, lol) so there is some gameplay stuff i have to fix already :D
Once I make those edits I will be beta ready - hopefully beta map should be available during this week and if all goes well I can release next weekend...
Note This map will also be released as a DM/TDM map, separate from the DOM.

Cheers

HOOOOORAAAAAAAY !!!!
 *ahem*
Oooo, nice looking screenies!
Nice to see you back Frag.
You missed me wanting to point a finger at you and Loathsome for promotion :pfff:

...and is there any chance you can add OpenAL EFX zone info in your maps pleeeeease ?
I'm still working my way through EpicCity trying to decide what each zone should sound like what, while constantly marvelling at it, and it is taking forever :(
The results will be worth it when I finish, as the new 64 channel audio renderers (with ray-tracing and occlusion) already make it sound better.
I play it mostly in Unreal 227 with CSWeapons.

:confused2: I wonder... by any chance are you a Fringe fan ?

thanks for the nice words guys :)

I've got a bit more to do, mostly lighting adjustments and sounds, and need to clean out unused textures and see what else i can cut out - the map's 50+ Megs so i want to slim it down a bit...

@flay - dunno about OpenAL - that's not an Epic thing, is it? is it an actor i just drop in a zone? just let me know what i gotta do ... :)

also not sure what you mean by "fringe fan" - is that a band, lol?

@genmokai - hey thanks for posting - did you ever finish that underwater bioshock like ctf map? I played all the irrational "shock" games in the last two months and that made me think of your underwater base map :D

Cheers
