Did you guys ever discuss music for the map? The lack of a background track(s) is somewhat obvious and I would guess the answer to this is yes? You might consider it because it would be nice to have.
If you want I could script a per-zone music function if one does not exist but as often as you change zones that might be a problem. Alucard made a really nice jukebox that I've used over the years if that's a consideration. You can select the music in it that you alone want to hear, independent of what the other players are hearing. It's a very nice touch and would allow you to include a range of music with the player having the decision as to what to listen to. As far as I can see that's the only omission to this wonderful thing.

BTW, well done on the flow of this map. It's got more twists and turns than a Formula 1 track making it a very interactive DM map.

There is a music track. :tongue: It's Phantom. And yes, we had several discussions about the music. But the music zones would disturb the player after a while. I for example hate it when I have to listen to the beginning of a track over and over again, but not the middle or the end. In Phase 3, I included the current track, as I think that this matches the atmosphere quite well. And since no one complained about it I left it in the final version. Because every other map has one fixed track, I don't consider to include this JuckBox. But thanks for your suggestions :)

Sometimes understated music works best. A good track that flows nicely so that when it ends it merges back into the beginning with no interrupt, but not so loud that even at a decent volume the music doesn't drown out the sounds of combat...

...not too understated though. I once ran into a map that was pretty good at this except near a waterfall that drowned out the music completely.

When i first looked at the map, the sheer size of and scale of it, I was almost surprised the music didn't change from one room to the next. Granted, very few people do that. It's usually something you see in MH or AS games, when you reach different stages.

Jesus christ: After some months map-factory finally updated their website with their new map contributions. I was really sure the owner would not do anything anymore. Whatever happened, I hope I wont happen again. Everything from "Lost Temple" on page 7 up to the newest page (obviously page 1) came in one single bunch.

I also got confused thinking map(s) thinking we usually have a map pack.

Didn't check it out yet but that is a pretty cool way to use the group browser.
